Daffodil Day
Bell Buckle Citizen of the Year nominations are being accepted at Bell Buckle Town Hall through March 1,  2009. The recipient of this year's award will be announced on March 21st during Daffodil Day Festival's Arbor Day ceremony at 3:00 pm at the Bell Buckle Banquet Hall. BBQ Judges' Class
Sign up now for the Judge's Class to be certified for judging the Best of the Butts BBQ Cook-Off in the categories of ribs and butts. the class will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00am at the Captain Rodney stage behind the stores.  Space is limited to the first 25 entrants. A $10 entry fee is required to cover costs.  A certified judge and a circuit cooker will be on had to lead the class. GeoWoodstock VII
The World's largest annual geocaching experience comes to Bell Buckle on Saturday, May 23rd. Classes and performances will be ongoing at this free event. Some of the classes and performances will be held at the Bell Buckle amphitheater.

 
Best of Butts BBQ Cook-Off
the 2nd annual Best of Butts BBQ Cook Off sponsored by George Dickel Distillery will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009. Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 Best of the Butts BBQ cook Off benefiting the Bell Buckle Park. Previous contenders will be given until April 1, 2009 to re-apply. After April 1st, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis. New applicants may apply now, however, the applications will be dated and held until April 1st before opening in order to remain fair and impartial. Please click here for the application.
 
Rollin' Round Robin Classic
Bell Buckel Park is proud to announce the first ever Rollin' Round Robin Wheelchair Basketball Tournament to be held November 6th and 7th at the Webb School Barton Gymnasium. IN addition to the tournament action, there will be a Youth Free Throw contest and Adult Free Throw contest all from wheelchairs. Funds from the tournament will towards the construction of a half size basketball court at the Bell Buckle Park. More information to follow.
